Why is the carpet red? There are a lot of theories as to why red was the chosen color for the carpet that Hollywood stars would walk on prior to their big events. Here's my theory ... the red carpet is kind of like a giant tampon. The Paparazzi is the vagina and the celebrities are the blood. The Paparazzi feeds on the celebrity blood until they no longer needed and then they flush it out onto the red carpet (the tampon), causing it to be red. You follow me here, right? Shit, this analogy doesn't make any sense does it? Sorry about that.
