Sometimes news reporters take it too far and they pay the price. Take the reporter from Die Hard, for example. He wanted to be the first to break the story at the Nakatomi building and in the process let Hans Gruber and his goons almost gain the upper hand on John McClane by revealing that Holly Gennero was actually John McClane's wife. Hans then took her hostage, but fortunately McClane wisely taped an extra gun to his back and still managed to foil their plans. Then McClane's wife Holly punched the reporter in the face for being such an asshole. McClane got to take her home and have sex with her and she had huge boobs. So the moral of the story here is don't be a snoopy reporter or you'll get your ass kicked.
